During the mid to late 1800's, when the "Gold Coast" was being developed, there were not many machines available except for horses, donkeys and oxen which pulled wagons and other tools used to move dirt and do work. The advent of a rail spur from Boston was key in bringing supplies such as topsoil which was desperately needed on the rocky shoreline. The former owner of the Wyck Estate in Manchester by-the-Sea once said that it took 200 men over four years to landscape the property.
As you are well aware, today's world is markedly different. The labor pool has shrunk dramatically and technology is developing faster than we can comprehend. No longer do we produce our work by shear manpower alone, but rely on trucks, equipment and machinery to help us in virtually every task we undertake. From the smallest gas powered roto tiller up to our tandem dump trucks and just about everywhere in between, we have a machine that will make our work faster and more efficient and actually increase the quality of our product.
We operate all late model equipment because it is dependable and helps to keep our jobs moving forward. Our trucks are all painted the same color and lettered appropriately so that they look good on the road, but more importantly, while they are parked on your property. Neat, clean and tastefully done, our equipment is our biggest display of our brand and a reflection on our work. Perhaps we can park some in your driveway soon!
