Grounds Management

Jeffreys Creek has the trained and certified staff to handle all of your property maintenance needs. Our approach is one of relationship building, based on trust with a personalized service and attention to detail. Our crews have a thorough understanding of your property, plants, and your needs. We listen and respond with solutions.

Our Services Include:

Spring Clean Up:
Remove debris, prune winter damage from plants and freshen up things for the season by cleaning and edging all plant beds.

Mulch:
Give your property a fresh, clean appearance while retaining moisture for plants, reducing weeds and erosion. We can schedule immediately after your spring clean-up.

Scheduled Maintenance:
Weekly visits to keep your property looking kept. Tasks include picking up sticks and debris, mowing the lawn, weeding, edging and pruning, as well as monitoring the plants and turf for unwanted pests. Also includes aeration in the fall in place of one mowing;

Lawn Care:
Fertilizer, weed, disease and insect control treatment as needed to keep your lawn healthy. We prefer an organic based approach with chemical treatments only as needed to avoid blanket use of pesticides.

Seasonal pruning:
Hand prune ornamental trees and shrubs to promote health, vigor, and good plant structure.

Irrigation System Management:
Based on seasonal trends with weather, we will adjust the system to make sure it is delivering the optimal amount of water to the lawn and shrubs so that it is not being wasted.

Lawn Renovation:
Aerate to promote root growth, slice seed for bare spots or turf damaged by insects or disease.

Fall Clean Up:
Leaf removal becomes a continuation of the scheduled maintenance when the leaves begin to fall in mid October. By early November, we begin in earnest doing clean ups and will visit your property two additional times before mid December, once for the early drop, and then again for those trees like oak that hang on.

Green Waste Recycling:
All of the organic debris generated by these services is composted and reused!!

Landscape Materials:
Screened loam, bark mulch, compost, and pea stone delivered.

Snow Removal:
Plowing, sanding, and shoveling automatically. We plow with the storm so you can always get out!
