"When we first heard of Jeffrey's Creek Land Contractors, it was through seeing all the magnificent landscapes of the larger estates here in Manchester by the Sea.  We browsed the website and were very impressed by the work they had done.  When we were ready to begin our own landscaping, we chose a landscape architect, Eastgate Gardens to do the design.  Much to our delight and surprise, they told me that John and his crew would be implementing the design. We mistakenly thought that Jeffrey's Creek only did the larger, estate projects and we loved everything we had seen of their work.  During the project, we realized after speaking with neighbors that John had also been responsible for almost every landscape that we liked of the smaller homes in the area.  How wonderful!

During the process of beginning the work of our design, we learned that John had grown up on the property below us.  He knew our property well from the time he had spent with the family who originally built our home.  How appropriate that he would be a part of transforming our yard into a beautiful, naturally wooded haven.  There were unexpected obstacles along the way but John and the architect  were able to modify the plans easily to work around them.  We have completed the first phase of the plan and now have an inviting and more accessible walkway leading up to our home as well as an impressive, gorgeous granite stone wall.  The crew worked tirelessly and painstakingly on the wall to create a work of art which adds an architectural  element to the house.  Its a piece of sculpture and we couldn't be more pleased.  In doing the new stone wall, we had to transplant a very large, old rhododendron bush and the guys were very careful to preserve the root structure.  John placed the bush in a different part of the yard temporarily with plans to move it back to the original site.  However, he has such an eye for aesthetics that we decided to keep it where it is because we think it is the perfect spot for it!

We cannot say enough about the quality of work that Jeffery's Creek executes.  John has such a talent in visualizing the potential of a property with his experience and keen sense of beauty.  The crew are delightful, responsible and considerate.  They are reliable, dependable, professional and extremely hardworking.  We loved having them around and in fact, can't wait to begin the next phase of our landscape project.  Thank you, Jeffrey's Creek!"
